Professional Biography:

Peter G. Ballas II received his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio in 1980. After completing internship at Mercy Hospital in Toledo, Ohio, Dr. Ballas did his dermatology residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Ballas came to Florida in 1985 and practiced for two years before opening a private practice serving Delray Beach and Boca Raton in 1987. In addition to providing general dermatology services, Dr. Ballas is regarded as a local collagen and Dermalogen injection techniques. He also was involved in initial testing to Softform permanent implants prior to the product's general availability. Dr. Ballas provides extensive cosmetic services including hair transplants, chemical peels, laser procedures, Softform permanent implants, Botox treatment and sclerotherapy. Microdermabrasion and dermabrasion services are also available at the practice.
